The Mu Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau is committed to dedicating time raising money for both national and local philanthropies.
As a local organization, our chapter supports a variety of philanthropies. In recent years, we have dedicated our efforts to raising money for the AIDs Action Committee of Greater Boston. Our signature event, "The Annual Safe Sex Party", has gained popularity on campus and has recently evolved into a Battle of the Bands. In each of the past two years, in conjunction with the Student Health Ambassadors, we have raised over $4,000 each event. If you would like any more information on our philanthropic success, please contact us!
As a national organization, Zeta Beta Tau named Childrens Miracle Network as the National Philanthropy. Each year, Mu Chapter holds "Get on the Ball", in which we raise money for this national philanthropy through signatures on a giant ball rolled around campus. Through the support of corporate and private donations, each signature earns a set amount for this wonderful philanthropy. If you check out our photo galleries, or find yourself on campus often, you can see our giant ball roll by once a year!
