Scholarship

  •

Zeta Beta Tau at Boston University remains committed to maintaining a high standard of academic excellence.  In accordance, the chapter instituted an Academic Program in 2006 in order to set goals and standards higher, aid brothers who are struggling, and maintain our efforts in achieving the best grades possible for each brother.

In addition to our own chapter's rewards for academic success, our national office also provides scholarships for brothers who meet set criteria through the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation Need & Merit Scholarship Program.

Scholarships are only awarded to initiated members of the Fraternity. Undergraduate applicants must also be in good standing and active members of their respective chapters. Senior class members contemplating graduation will not be eligible to apply for a need scholarship unless they indicate their intention of going on to graduate school. Should they be winners, they will be required to produce evidence of matriculation in to graduate school prior to receiving their scholarships.

While graduate students are eligible to apply, the Scholarship Committee will score undergraduate applications first. The committee will consider graduate student applications if and when it has provided scholarship aid to every undergraduate meeting the minimum total score required to win. Graduate students are not eligible for merit scholarships. Graduate students must be enrolled in an accredited program to be eligible to apply for a need scholarship.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to meet with our Academic Chairperson for more details.
